Ciao ciao!
Back on the fashion front this week! I define my style as ultra feminine with an old fashioned, elegant feel. I found this adorable dress last year and it reminded me of that vintage, old Italy style I always seek out: the little cap sleeves, the defined waist, and the bright, floral print.
In the last couple of years, I’ve gotten more serious about acquiring beautiful pieces that suit my style from quality brands. I’d rather pay a lot more for one stunning dress that suits my style perfectly, than 10 cheap outfits that miss the mark and last about one wash. It’s definitely an investment to take this route, but the payoff is worth it if you feel great in your outfit.
This bright orangey-red dress I found at Topshop last year reminded me of that classic southern Italian style a la Sofia Loren and Claudia Cardinale. I love how the fabric pulls in at the waist and then flares a bit at the bottom. Just girly and well structured. Then, the real stars of the show here, are these amazing shoes I found at DSW by Gunmetal. They called out to me from down the aisle and next thing I knew, I was at the register. 😊 I love the color blocking of the black and white and their vintage inspired shape. Ultra comfy and classic, these shoes are getting a lot of usage these days.
Negli ultimi anni, sono diventata più seria nell’acquisto di abiti belli da marche di qualità. Pagherei di più per un vestito bellissimo che va benissimo con il mio stile di 10 vestiti di bassa qualità che durano solo una lavata. È sicuramente un investimento fare così, ma il risultato è vale la pena quando ti senti benissimo nel tuo abito.
Questo vestito brillante di arancione-rosso che ho trovato da Topshop l’anno scorso, mi ricorda di quello stile classico del vecchio sud Italia a la Sofia Loren e Claudia Cardinale. Mi piace troppo come definisce la vita e poi si allarga in fondo. È femminile e strutturato bene. Poi, le vere stelle dello spettacolo sono queste scarpe bellissime che ho trovato da DSW dalla marca Gunmetal. Mi hanno chiamato dal corridoio e poi mi sono trovata improvvisamente alla cassa. 😊 Mi piace tantissimo il color blocking del nero e bianco e la loro forma vintage. Sono comodissime (più di tutto), classiche e me le metto spessissimo questa stagione.

This is a really pretty dress. I don’t do mini’s so I would wear it a little longer to come just above the knees, but other than that it is gorgeous. Really suits you.
