A Two Minute Classic Bun

A Two Minute Classic Bun

Hello hello!

Today I have this super easy and adorable, classic bun for you guys! This bun is perfect for work or school when you’re in a hurry in the morning to get out the door but don’t want to keep reverting to a simple pony or messy bun.  It’s just a couple extra little steps than a ponytail, and it works for day or night as an elegant hairstyle.  Here’s the breakdown:

The Bellezza Corner 2 Minute Bun

I didn’t start with straightened or pre-styled hair at all.  I like for this bun to look a little messier, so if you prefer a cleaner look, you could definitely straighten beforehand.

First, gather all your hair into a pony, leaving one piece underneath separate.  We will use this piece to wrap around the bun at the end.  I gather the hair neatly and make a neat, low pony first, before messing it up a bit.

Wrap your hair elastic around your hair as if you are making a pony tail, but on the last loop, don’t pull the hair all the way

through and leave a structured loop of a bun.  In this step it is important to be neat to get that clean look.  If you have many layers in your hair, and you therefore need to leave the ends kind of long underneath, you can always bobby pin them up out of the way.

Take the piece you left behind and wrap it around your hair elastic.  This step can also be done as messily or cleanly as you’d like.

Pin this piece in place with at least one bobby pin, hiding the pin underneath the bun.

Voila! In two minutes you have an effortless looking, elegant bun!  I like to leave some little pieces out around my face to keep the look soft and feminine too.  What do you guys think?
