4 Simple Ways to Revamp Your Look

4 Simple Ways to Revamp Your Look

Buongiorno! 🙂

There are a few little ways I spice up any day to day look that keep my go-to style feeling fresh and different without doing anything too drastic (or spending a bunch of money).  Certain small changes can give you a refreshed, cool vibe with very little effort-and that’s the name of the game for me.

You don’t have to do much to switch up your style- just a couple of these little changes can pack a big punch:

1. Throw on a statement earring

I love a good statement necklace and usually opt for a muted earring to balance it out. (My little gold hoops are my go-to). But I think the oppositea muted (or no) necklace and statement earrings brings a whole new level to your look.  Earrings can really be so beautiful because they are right there framing your face for either a fancy night out, or a relaxed day look.  They totally add new dimension to any outfit, and are a fun, easy way to feel even more beautiful. 🙂

A boho earring vs. a dressy statement earring- both make a big change in your look!

2. Switch up your part

Another little shift that packs a big punch is changing your hair part.  A dramatic side part with big fluffy curls adds instant drama, while a center part can be a more relaxed, easy going look.  Whichever you tend to gravitate toward, switch it up and see how it changes your whole look automatically.

3. Reshape your nails (and throw on a bold color!)

Maybe this is two changes, but who’s counting? I’ve always done my own nails (shaping, painting etc.) and one thing I do periodically is change my nail shape.  I’ll go long stretches of time with rounded/almond shaped nails and then square them off.  I prefer a rounded-square look rather than a very angled, fake-nail-squared kind of look. This is really one of those little changes that keeps you going, “Ooh!” every time you look down at them.  Then throw a bold color on there and you can feel like a changed woman! 😉

4. Top it off with a bold lip

Talk about a game changer.  A game changer for your look and a game changer for your confidence.  Honestly, fewer things make me feel more confident than a bold lip- specifically in red shades. Red, Oxblood, deep reds and purples- ugh. Love ’em. My best best red- the best red in the whole world- is Mac’s Ruby Woo.  Trust me on this one. A bold lip is THE perfect accessory.

Ciao ciao,

Amanda
