Hey everyone,
For this look, I emphasized bright, fresh skin (as usual), a dark, bronzey eye, and a nude lip. Enjoy :*
Face:
For my face I used my favorite (and safe!) drugstore foundation- Revlon Photo Ready liquid foundation in Nude 004. For both my foundation and concealer, I only used my fingers to apply. I just dab, not slide, all around my face.
For under eye concealer I used my favorite (also safe 😉 ) Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard. And for blemishes I used my holy grail product- Mac Studio Finish Concealer (I use NC35).
I lightly contoured my cheeks, hairline, and jaw line with Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Deep with my kabuki brush. I love this bronzer, especially for when I’m tan since it is dark. Deep is the darkest shade of all the Bobbi Brown bronzers. It gives a matte finish, and I just love how it looks.
I skipped blush for this look. I wanted to have just a matte, bronzed face to complement the bronze shades of my eyes.
Eyes:

the lip looks a little pinky here in this light for some reason.
I used the Naked palette as well as my favorite Mac shade for my eyes.
First I applied “Naked” all over my lid and crease.
Next, I used my Sephora Collection #10 brush and brushed the color “Buck” back and forth over the crease. This fluffy blending brush is a game changer- let me tell you. It is literally the perfect size and softest to shade your eye lid crease evenly. I always struggled to do this with other brushes, and now it is super simple. Highly recommended.
Next, I went in with “Dark Horse” and shaded the whole outer third of each eye lid from lash line to crease.
Next, I took my all. time. favorite. eyeshadow. ever. by Mac it’s called Woodwinked. I found it totally by accident when I was about 15 years old and it turned out to be the best shimmery, bronze shade I have ever had. I use it often for just everyday, all over the lid color. So I applied it on the other 2/3 of my eyelid and a little into my tear duct as well.
I didn’t want to use a liquid liner because I wanted to keep everything smoky. I just really messily applied a black liner on my upper lash line to about the outer 2/3 only. (I don’t ever put eye liner close to the inner corner of my eye. I really don’t like the way it looks.) I used Clinique Cream Shaper eye liner in black diamond . I like this black liner because it really doesn’t smudge at all like some kohl liners do. Then I took a pencil brush and just smudged it all out.
Over where I applied the liner, I took “Hustle” with an angled brush and applied that right over. It just parked up the lash line.
Then I took the same pencil brush and applied a mixture of “Smog” and “Dark Horse” to the outer 2/3 of my lower lash line. This is a great way to smoke out the lower lash line and is easier and more attractive than dark eye liner there.
Lastly I applied Loreal Telescopic mascara to my upper lashes. (My lower lashes are really long as well so I don’t like to put mascara on them).
I filled in just the start of my eyebrows a bit with my favorite Gerard Cosmetics Brow Bar To Go and an angled brush.
Lips:
I did my favorite nude lip combo on my lips. I use Mac Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Etcetera. Awesome nude color. When I’m lazy, I just put this all over my lips. Creamy, not drying, and last all day.
Then I filled in my lips with Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in Nude. It’s a great, creamy neutral tone and I tend to use it as a base for mixing with other colors.
Over that I used Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo in No. 4 Pink Beige Nude. This is my everyday, absolute favorite nude lipstick. I wear it ALL the time. It’s light, but still pigmented and super moisturizing. Totally worth the little splurge to get it.
Let me know what you think!
Happy Saturday 🙂

Amanda xoxo
